Centrelink Pensioner Concession Card

Cetnrelink Pensioner Concession Card

The card is available to people who are:

  • permanent Australian residents, and do not leave Australia for more than 13 weeks at a time
  • receiving a social security pension or qualifying allowance.

The card can also be issued to some people receiving social security benefits such as those aged 60 or over who receive long-term income support. Some people who are in the Pension Loan Scheme or the Community Development Employment Project are also eligible.

The Department of Veterans’ Affairs also issues a Pensioner Concession Card with a different set of eligibility criteria.
